I am horribly embarrassed to admit this, but I can't for the life of me remember Allie's friend's name! To give myself a little credit, it was the 1st time I'd met her and she only hung out with me & my family during lunch and was nice enough to model for me while I played with my new camera...
Honest mistake, right? At least you know I'm human...
Meredith is one of my friends who models for me...and so when asked me to do some headshots for her, how could I resist???...so we did an impromptu session right after church...check them out...here they are...
BTW, my FAVORITE thing about Meredith is her freckles!!!! And wouldn't you know it, she doesn't like them! I'd take 'em in a heartbeat! :) She's such a beautiful girl inside and out!
Ever wonder what 50 years of marriage looks like? Take a look at my grandparents---we just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and they were sweet enough to let me photograph them... Marriage is one of God's most beautiful creations...and the blessing of spending 50 years with someone is something that is so amazing...it's something that I admire and that I look forward to sharing with my sweet husband, Kelly...
Congratulations, Mimi & Papa!
Blessings, Candace
This is their original cake centerpiece from 50 years ago...
Don't they look like they're having fun? I told them to think back to the days when they couldn't keep their hands off each other... sooooo sweet!
This picture cracks me up...it doesn't matter how many years you've been married, your best friend will still say something that'll make you roll your eyes! Love it!
My name is Candace & I began my photography journey when I was in high school...I found I couldn't seem to remember anything unless I had a picture of it...
My interest in photography grew more when I had kiddos--that was when I decided that my camera would never leave my side--b/c you just never know what you might catch on camera...("oooh, I haven't caught THAT expression on film yet..." or "wow, that's the 1st time he's stuck a pea up his nose!"..."wow, he just LOOKED at the dog poopy & didn't stick it in his mouth," etc--you catch my drift?).
But, to be honest with you, my very deep love for photography didn't truly come until after I had gone through some very difficult trials which brought me to the lowest of lows... and it was then that my sweet Heavenly Father rescued me and gave me a sweet, precious gift...the ability to see the others, not in the way the world sees them, but the way God sees them--beautifully created in His image...
"Every good and perfect gift is from above..." James 1:17
I plan on using my gift to be the hands and feet of Jesus...to glorify Him in all that I do... how do you plan on using your gifts?
